Clinton Online School for Girls

Welcome to Clinton Online School for Girls

Clinton Online School: An Eternal Torch in the Night of Deprivation, the Flag ofKnowledge and Equality In September 2025, as darkness once again enveloped Afghanistan and the doors of schools were slammed shut on girls, a small but defiant light flared in the vast expanse of cyberspace: Clinton Online School. This name evokes the global voice of advocacy for women’s rights—a cry in the silence declaring: “The right to knowledge is sacred, and no
barrier can block it forever. ” This school is born of iron resolve and boundless love for Afghanistan’s future. Its founder, Professor Ramesh Mofleh Hosseini, is a poet whose pen shines like a sword of light through the darkness of our times; a profound writer, a discerning litterateur, an inspiring declaimer, a compassionate teacher, and a fearless fighter for women’s rights. Like a migratory bird, he spread his wings from the blood-soaked soil of Kabul and inscribed Afghanistan’s name as an eternal star across distant skies. Professor Ramesh was the first to establish home-based schools in Afghanistan when education had to survive hidden within walls like a concealed treasure. He then founded Clinton Online School to channel knowledge like a flowing river to the most remote corners. Continuing this fruitful path, he established the first service complex dedicated to Afghan women—a safe haven for free spirits seeking peace amid the storm of inequality. Here, it is not merely a classroom; it is resistance. A soft yet unbreakable resistance that, with every lesson taught, every English word learned, every creative story written, and every verse of
Persian prosody that takes root in students’ hearts, strikes a blow against discrimination. The goal transcends grades and diplomas: it is the reconstruction of a nation’s identity through knowledge; the granting of equal opportunity to girls and boys—so no girl is suffocated under the shadow of
prohibition, and no boy is deprived of enlightenment in the exile of displacement.

About Us

The Importance of Work for Women: Afghan Women’s Exclusion from
Employment and the Global Human Rights Response Work is essential for
women, providing financial independence, self-confidence, decisionmaking power within families, and greater social equality. When women participate in the labor force, economies grow, inequality decreases, and communities become stronger. Globally,
women’s employment has historically driven economic progress and allowed
better balance between career and family. Meaningful jobs aligned with
personal values lead to higher satisfaction and lower burnout. Yet in Afghanistan under Taliban rule, women have been systematically barred from working since 2021.

The Taliban has banned women from government jobs, most NGOs, beauty salons, many agricultural roles, and other sectors through repeated decrees. These restrictions, rooted in their strict interpretation of Islamic law, have created a system of gender apartheid,
forcing women into financial dependence and erasing them from
public and economic life. As a result, Afghanistan remains the only country
explicitly prohibiting women from most forms of employment.

Clinton Online School:

A Beacon of Hope for Women's Rights and Education

On September 15, 2025, in the darkness of oppression and deprivation, a bright torch was lit in the name of Clinton Online School – a virtual and free educational institution dedicated to Afghan women and boys who have been deprived of their right to education due to exile and migration.

This school was not established by chance, but rather as a sacred struggle against ignorance and illiteracy – a battle rooted in the defense of equal rights for men and women, and equipping the new generation with the sharp sword of knowledge.

The founder of this noble institution is Ramesh Mofleh Hosseini, a writer and activist who previously established the first home school in Afghanistan when the Taliban closed schools to Afghan girls and stole their right to education.

With a heart full of love for women’s rights and the promotion of knowledge, Ramesh opened a new path to make the voice of equality resonate in cyberspace.

The noble goal of this school is to fight against ignorance, promote science and knowledge as a fundamental right of every human being, and provide equal educational opportunities to girls and boys – so that no girl is left in the shadow of discrimination and no boy is deprived of the light of knowledge in exile.

Clinton Online School is a non-profit organization that receives no support from governments, individuals, or foundations; all its costs are covered by Ramesh Mofleh Hosseini’s own pocket – a sacrifice that symbolizes the defense of women’s rights and commitment to knowledge.

This educational institution started with classes from 7th to 9th grade and, in addition to regular courses, offers valuable subjects like English and Turkish languages, psychology, storytelling, and even a specialized course in prosody – so that students not only gain knowledge but also become familiar with the beauty of literature and the depth of human psychology.

So far, several psychology seminars and workshops have been held, a complete storytelling course has been completed, a psychology course has finished, a drawing and calligraphy course has been successfully completed, and a group of students have received their GED high school diploma – achievements that are victories over the darkness of ignorance and gender discrimination.

The good news is that registration for classes from 7th to 12th grade will soon begin, and this caravan of knowledge and equal rights will move forward more broadly than ever.

However, there are significant challenges: students face unstable internet and power shortages; the number of teachers and staff has increased, and costs are rising daily. Ramesh says: “Afghanistan is offline, our students need help. I hope those who, like me, consider the fight against ignorance and the defense of women’s rights a human duty, will extend a helping hand so that this flag of knowledge and equality never falls.”

Clinton Online School is not just an educational institution, but a symbol of Afghan women’s resistance in the path of knowledge, science, and equal rights – a torch that will shatter the darkness of discrimination with its light.

With wishes for the victory of women’s rights and the boundless expansion of science and knowledge,

Ramesh Mofleh Hussaini

On the eve of March 8th, International Women’s Day—a sacred date when the world raises its voice in unison for women’s rights, equality, justice, and dignity—a beacon of hope once more pierces through the darkness.
In this fateful year of 2026, as the world gathers beneath the banners of “Rights. Justice. Action. For ALL Women and Girls” and “Give to Gain,” a luminous new chapter dawns for the daughters of Afghanistan.
Precisely on this March 8th, International Women’s Day, Mufleh Ramesh University unfurls its full educational mission: flinging wide the portals of knowledge and science to the Afghan girls who have been cruelly barred from their birthright to learn.
Conceived and founded on February 14th, this virtual citadel of enlightenment now stands vigilant and prepared. In sacred resonance with the spirit of March 8th, it opens its gates to welcome more than one thousand courageous young women already enrolled—women who burn with quiet, unbreakable resolve to seize back their stolen futures.
With six noble faculties, the university rises as a living testament to endurance and emancipation:
• Faculty of Economics — arming women to forge economies rooted in justice and shared prosperity
• Faculty of Literature — cradling souls, amplifying silenced voices, and kindling fearless expression
• Faculty of Computer Science — propelling Afghan women into the digital frontier and the boundless realm of technology
• Faculty of Agriculture — empowering rural women to heal the soil, revive abundance, and safeguard food sovereignty
• Faculty of Journalism — forging truth-bearers who will rend the veil of silence and champion human dignity
• Faculty of Nursing — preparing tender, resolute healers to mend bodies, soothe hearts, and rebuild communities
More than one thousand daughters have already stepped onto this sacred path, bearing in their breasts an indomitable will to transmute suffering into sovereignty through the alchemy of education.
Our sole and inviolable mission is an unyielding war against the twin tyrants of ignorance and illiteracy—a war waged at the forefront by Afghan women themselves. We proclaim with unwavering conviction: every girl robbed of schooling inflicts a wound upon the soul of humankind; every girl who claims knowledge becomes both physician to history’s deepest scars and architect of a dawn yet unborn.
This enduring labor of liberation springs from the vision, the sacrifice, and the steadfast devotion of three faithful sons of this wounded yet unbowed land:
• Professor Ramesh Mofleh Husseini, principal visionary and architect of learning without borders
On this March 8th, as women the world over declare with one voice: “Our rights, our justice, our action,”Mofleh Ramesh University answers not with words alone, but with irrevocable deeds:
Afghan girls stand no longer forsaken.
Knowledge is their inviolable inheritance.
Science is a blade no oppression can wrest from their grasp.
And the age-old struggle of women to claim their rightful place—now ignited and sustained by the incandescent power of education—advances with renewed ferocity, brighter hope, and inexorable momentum.
We envision the day when no girl in this cherished homeland is stripped of learning;
when ignorance kneels before the unconquerable spirit and luminous wisdom of Afghan women;
when the rights of women cease to be a distant dream and become an immutable truth woven into the very tapestry of our shared humanity.
mofleh Ramesh University
From this International Women’s Day forward—stands eternally beside you, heroic daughters.
Together, let us kindle—and forever guard—the eternal flame of knowledge.
